How It All Began

My travel blog wasn't born from a grand vision or business plan, but rather from a series of transformative moments that changed how I saw the world—and my place in it.

It started five years ago during what was supposed to be a routine two-week vacation in Thailand. I had meticulously planned every aspect of the trip, armed with guidebooks and itineraries that would take me to all the "must-see" attractions. Three days in, I found myself sitting in a small café in Chiang Mai, frustrated because a sudden downpour had derailed my carefully scheduled temple tour.

The café owner, seeing my disappointment, sat down and asked a simple question: "Why are you in such a hurry?" What followed was a three-hour conversation that fundamentally shifted my approach to travel. He shared stories of his village, invited me to a family dinner the next evening, and suggested places no guidebook had mentioned.

That rainy afternoon became the first of many unplanned detours. I abandoned my itinerary, extended my trip by ten days, and began documenting these unexpected encounters not just through photos, but through stories that captured the essence of the experiences.
